Test Setup:​

• 2 identical staircases (hard plywood board, 25mm/1”)

• Each staircase has 9 steps

• Each step is 17cm/6’7” high and 35cm/13’8” deep

• The staircase is 1.23m/48.4 wide

• One of the staircase is protected with akuSta-Plast Fire Stop (only bottom is covered), One is unprotected

• The temperature is measured using a thermometer located on top of the 4th step
